Privacy Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Role Crawler handles information when you use our website or contact us.

Information we process

You can search and view jobs without creating an account. Search terms and filters are processed to return results and may appear in page URLs. For some searches, we send the selected work category, any job title or keyword you enter, and requested location to a job data provider to return relevant openings. We do not include your IP address in those search requests. Search results and their query may be cached for up to 24 hours of reuse; expired entries are removed during later searches. Technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and request logs, may be processed to operate the website, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse.

If you report a listing, we collect the reason, any details you choose to provide, the submission time, and the review outcome. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. Please do not send resumes, application documents, financial information, or other sensitive information through reports or support email.

How we use information

We use information to provide job search, maintain accurate listings, investigate reports, respond to requests, protect the website, and meet applicable obligations. Reporting may involve a security check that processes browser and request information. We also use temporary identifiers to limit repeated or abusive submissions.

Service providers

We use service providers for website operation, job search, image delivery, data storage, email, security, and access management. These providers may process information as needed to perform those functions. Company logo images may load from an external image provider, which receives your IP address, browser information, and our site’s origin when your browser requests an image. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

Job applications and external websites

Role Crawler does not collect resumes or process job applications. Listing and application links may take you to an employer, an application provider, or another job board. Those websites handle information under their own privacy policies. Review their policies before providing personal information.

AI job overviews

When you open a job listing, we automatically generate or retrieve an AI overview. To generate it, we send the published listing’s title, employer, location, work arrangement, employment type, salary information, and description to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a summary. We do not include your search history, reports, support messages, or application documents in that model request. Generated summaries are stored for reuse and regenerated when the listing content changes. Cloudflare also processes technical request information as our hosting and AI service provider.

Sharing job links

Copying, emailing, and sharing links use your browser or chosen application. We do not ask for or store the recipients’ email addresses or phone numbers. Your chosen application handles the message you send.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies or browser storage may be used for security and administrator sign-in. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure pageviews, visits, referring websites, and page performance without analytics cookies or visitor profiles. Cloudflare currently excludes EU visitor data from this measurement. We also count clicks on job and employer-career links in daily totals by destination provider. These counters do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, job IDs, search terms, or destination URLs, and are retained for up to 90 days. Click counts are approximate and do not establish that an application was completed. Advertising scripts remain disabled. We have configured Google AdSense for future advertising, subject to site approval and activation. When enabled on job results pages, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, and personalize ads and prevent fraud. Advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to select ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google consent messages will offer applicable choices, including consent, refusal, and management of options for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and an opt-out of sale or sharing for visitors covered by supported US state messages. Applicable privacy and cookie settings and Do Not Sell or Share links will be available through Google’s messages on pages where ads load. You can also manage personalized ads at Google My Ad Center and learn how Google processes information at Google’s partner-site privacy explanation. Browser controls can restrict or delete cookies. Declining personalization may still allow limited or contextual ads. We will verify the visitor choices before activating advertising.

Retention

Job reports are normally deleted after 90 days. Temporary abuse-prevention identifiers are normally cleared after one day, and routine operational logs after 30 days. Automated cleanup may take longer during an outage or backlog. We retain correspondence and administrator audit records as needed to handle requests, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations. Service providers may maintain separate technical logs under their retention practices.

Your choices and requests

For questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information you have provided, email support@rolecrawler.com. Your rights depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when necessary for security or legal obligations. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as our practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
